  • The system will detect and read license plates when operated within the parameters outlined in the user manual. It will determine if the license plates are on the allowed list (permitted) and identify those not authorized to park.

  • Operating within the conditions outlined in the Parkva Patrol user manual, the system will correctly identify license plates with 98 percent accuracy.

  • Parkva Patrol supports digital permitting systems from Autura, Omadi, ParkM, ParkingSnap, ParkByPlate, Reliant, Simply Permits, and TowCentric.

We also integrate tow dispatches with dispatch platforms from Autura, Omadi, ParkingSnap, and TowCentric.

  • Parkva Patrol supports two cameras working simultaneously to process license plate images on both sides of the patrolling vehicle. Parkva's LPR cameras are designed to operate best when within a range of 8-15 feet of a parked vehicle.

  • These phone apps are great for checking plates for an active permit. They don’t require any specialized LPR equipment and are often used by the property manager or towing company driver to check on individual plates.

However, for large properties this requires walking the lot at night, often in harsh conditions. A two camera Parkva Patrol system can scan 100 plates per minute with extremely high accuracy and locate multiple violations in minutes. So drivers can patrol more lots on their shift and tow up to 45 percent more vehicles versus a mobile phone based LPR app.

The good news is that both Parkva Patrol and mobile apps work from the same database of permits. So either can be used, but Parkva Patrol will be much more efficient for towing companies.
