For enforcement operators

How many more properties could you cover?

Put in how your patrols run on foot today. See what the same hours cover, and what they find, when Parkva Patrol reads the plates from the truck.

How we figure it

Four numbers are yours. The fifth, how much faster a property goes from the truck, is a customer’s own result, and you pick it.

  1. At 5x, a property takes a fifth of its time on foot. Cedar Towing reports patrols 5x faster: a 2,000-car complex in under an hour that used to take three or more. FTR Inc puts a lot at up to 50 minutes on foot and about 10 from the truck.
  2. Your night, across all your crews, is every property’s time on foot plus the drive to the next. The drive takes as long from the truck as it does today: only the time on a property gets shorter.
  3. In the same night, the properties you could check are its minutes divided by the time each one takes from the truck, its drive included. FTR Inc says its drivers on foot might hit 3 or 4 properties in a shift, and with Parkva they can hit 20.
  4. Crew time is your hours back times your own cost an hour, over 52 weeks for a year. Patrol work is the properties you could add times what a property pays you a month. One or the other, never both. No Parkva price is in any number here.

Revenue found

  1. From the truck, the same hours make more property checks: the properties they reach, above, divided by yours today. They can go to more of your properties, or to the same ones more often, each lot read in full. Violations found rise with the lots checked, never with plates read, since reading a lot’s plates faster puts no more cars on it.
  2. And never past what customers report. FTR Inc, a tow operator, reports tow volume up 50 to 75% once every lot on its route was read, not the 3 or 4 a driver could walk. A Midwest tow operator reports monthly revenue up 60% from more of the right cars found on the same properties by the same trucks. We hold the rise to FTR’s top, 75%, at Cedar Towing’s 5x, and to its bottom, 50%, at 3x or 2x. Those are their own results, not Parkva measurements: a ceiling here, never a promise.
  3. Your split decides the tows and the tickets, and your own averages the money. A month is 52 weeks over 12; a year is 12 months.
  4. What counts as a violation, and what happens to the car, stays the property’s rules. Parkva Patrol finds the cars that break them.

Put in your patrols, your trucks or officers, and the violations one finds a shift, and the arithmetic fills in here.

An estimate from your answers and two customers’ own reported results. It is not a Parkva measurement, a quote, or a promise.

Where does 5x come from?

From Cedar Towing, a tow operator in Minnesota. Cedar reports patrols 5x faster since its crews started reading plates from the truck: a 2,000-car complex now takes under an hour, where it used to take three or more. FTR Inc, also in Minnesota, puts one lot at up to 50 minutes on foot and about 10 from the truck. Both are the companies’ own results on their own properties, not Parkva measurements, which is why the calculator lets you plan at 3x or 2x instead.

Do my drivers still get out of the truck?

When there is something to do. Parkva Patrol reads plates as the truck drives, more than 100 a minute, and checks each one against that property’s list while you pass, so finding the cars that don’t belong no longer means walking every row. Cedar Towing’s owner says her drivers stay in the truck now. A Midwest tow operator says its drivers leave the truck only to make a tow.

What about properties with hang tags or another permit app?

Parkva Patrol works with what each property already runs: Parkva Permit, another company’s permit app, or just hang tags and stickers, where it learns the regular cars on each pass. FTR Inc found the time saved holds even without digital permits: “Once the property is setup, the time savings of scanning a lot with Parkva are so big, it’s hard to justify doing it any other way.”
