Who is Cedar Towing?
Cedar Towing runs private-property enforcement in Minnesota. Some of the properties Tamara Rodrigue’s crews cover are large: up to 2,000 vehicles across seven separate lots on one site. On a property that size the job is the same every night. Find the vehicles that should not be there, tow the ones the property has asked you to tow, and never hook the ones you should not.
What was the problem, in their words?
Speed, and everything that goes wrong when you do not have it. Before Parkva a crew walked the lot and checked plates by hand, and the biggest complex took three hours or more. Two things went wrong at that pace. Some violations were missed, and some tows were mistakes, which end as no-charge tows and a bad night for everyone involved. Walking a dark lot is also the part of the job an owner worries about most.
What changed with Parkva Patrol?
The crew now reads plates from the truck with Parkva Patrol, and each plate is checked against the property’s roster as the truck passes. Tamara had one concern going in, and it was the weather.
“I was skeptical about how it would perform in rain and our harsh Minnesota winters. But we’ve had zero issues. It just works.”
The second change was where the drivers spend the shift.
